The program

Real IOP — delivered virtually

Nine hours of clinical care each week, on your schedule. Group therapy, 1:1 sessions, and medication management from a team that actually knows your name.

01

Group therapy

Small, closed groups led by licensed clinicians. CBT, DBT, and relapse-prevention curricula in a private, video-based room.

02

Individual sessions

Weekly one-on-one time with a dedicated primary therapist who tracks your progress and adjusts your plan.

03

Psychiatry & medication

Board-certified psychiatric providers for evaluation and medication management, including MAT where clinically appropriate.

04

Family engagement

Optional family sessions and psychoeducation. Recovery is stronger when the people around you understand it.

05

Case management

A real human helps you handle insurance, verifications, work notes, and stepping down to outpatient when you're ready.

06

Alumni & aftercare

Discharge is not the end. We stay connected with alumni groups, check-ins, and a step-down outpatient track.

Common questions

FAQs

Is virtual IOP as effective as in-person?
Multiple peer-reviewed studies show comparable outcomes between virtual and in-person IOP for both SUD and mental health when the program is properly structured. Ours follows the same clinical hours, curricula, and licensure standards as our brick-and-mortar programs — you just skip the commute.
Is this covered by insurance?
Most commercial insurance plans cover virtual IOP under mental health parity laws. We'll verify your benefits for free and tell you your exact out-of-pocket cost before you commit to anything.
What does a week look like?
Typically nine clinical hours per week — three group sessions plus a weekly individual session. Groups run in daytime and evening tracks so you can keep your job, school, or family routine.
Do I need to already be sober or stable?
No. We meet you where you are. Our assessment identifies whether IOP is the right level of care — some people benefit from a higher level of care first, and we'll refer you appropriately if that's the case.
Who runs the groups?
Only licensed clinicians — LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PhD, PsyD — with specific training in substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment. Psychiatric care is provided by board-certified psychiatric providers.
Is my information private?
Yes. We are HIPAA-compliant and follow 42 CFR Part 2 for substance use records — the strictest confidentiality protections in US healthcare. Your employer, family, and other providers will not know you're in care unless you sign a release.
